Simon has deep expertise in innovative approaches that leverage the private sector to achieve social impact.
Before founding Elevate Strategies, he worked at FSG, a mission driven consulting firm specialising in strategy, evaluation, and research. As an Associate Director in both FSG’s Geneva and Mumbai offices, he led client engagements with donor agencies, corporations, foundations and NGOs across a wide range of issue areas including access to energy, global health, access to finance, and early childhood education.
Prior to FSG, Simon was a consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Berlin. He also worked at Accuro Investment Services AG, a Zurich-based asset management company, and spent time in rural Tamil Nadu, India while working for Myrada, an NGO specialising in microfinance and livelihoods.
Simon holds a BA and MA in International Relations and Governance from the University of St. Gallen and an MSc in International Management from the Global Alliance in Management Education (CEMS). He is bilingual in English and German, and fluent in French. He is currently also an advisor at Camber Collective.
